Please fasten your seat belts as I am headed your way in a week's time.

The famous designer Ahmed Zahid has knifed logo samples for a possible Beyrege Club aimed exclusively at those who are born into ‘Beyrege’ family in Feydhoo, Addu Atoll, in the Maldives.

I am connected to Beyrege family from my mom’s side. The family has grown in size and many have since long shifted to Male’ the capital city for economic reasons. Younger members living aloof from Feydhoo don’t know many of their relatives and family relationships are full of dust. So I decided to take the initiative and to become the ring leader to revive the family connections by setting up a social club and various social events.

It is good to have a nice logo and I like the first one. The logo has come in time for the first event for which a backdrop is essential. The photo shoot which is to be held in Feydhoo, Addu Atoll on the 16th of December 2008 is the first ever social event and it is going to be BIG. This event is for members residing in Addu plus all those who have expressed interest in joining the trip. I am glad there is good support so far. There will be another photo shoot in January for those others living in Male’.

The social club 'Beyrege Gulhun' will offer membership for Beyrege members for a fee for those in employment and for FREE for those who have no income. Self-employed or wealthy members are requested to offer a bit more. Returns will of course be accounted for and audited annually. Chairman, vice chairman, treasurer, coordinators and a number of other positions are to be elected from the first dinner meeting to be held in January 2009.

Members please fasten your seat belts as I am headed your way in a week's time.
